Cookies are not something that you typically equate with healthy eating — unless they are from Nothin’ But Premium Foods.
Recently, the company sent me a box of gluten-free, 100 percent natural goodies to try including the Cherry Cranberry Almond Granola Cookies, the Chocolate Coconut Almond Granola Cookies, their snack bar counterparts, and a Ginger Lemon Cashew Snack Bar.
The line was created by Jerri Graham, the founding partner of Nothin’ But Premium Foods, who was frustrated with all of the unnatural snack bars on the market. So, she created recipes that she’d want to eat and give to her children and friends.
Although everything was delicious — even the ginger lemon snack bar, which I was a little hesitant about but had a nice flavor — my favorite was the Cherry Cranberry Almond Granola Cookies. A few of those were a perfect midday snack for me. I ended up eating most of the bars in two servings, given they packed a bigger caloric and fat-content punch.
I also shared them with my coworker, Christie, who can only do gluten-free products, and she loved them. So, if you are looking for another snack bar/granola, give this “fit” a try.
