I’d heard of beer and olive oil growlers, but it wasn’t until I visited the Juice Bar location in Virginia Highlands (in Atlanta for you nonATLians) that I found a growler that truly spoke to me.
The VaHi location is one of several that this brand has opened across the country. And these juice spots are all about using organic products when possible and 100 percent whole fruits and veggies. And when I came across the juice growlers on a shelf during a visit, I immediately fell in love. The idea is that you can get a big old bottle of your favorite juice and have it on hand for several days.
I opted to go with the tasty We Got the Beet option (which includes beets, carrot, apple, ginger and lemon). The growler jug was about $5 and is yours to keep. And then to get it filled is around $20.
I was able to get about four to five glasses of juice out of my jug over the course of about four days. (Since it is made fresh the day you pick it up, you don’t want to leave it sitting around for too long.) I just loved the convenience of having my favorite Juice Bar drink available (without having to make a trip to the shop). It’s a definite “fit” that I will be taking advantage of for many months to come!
