As the steam started to lightly blow onto my face, and I felt my muscles melt into the warm table I was laying on, I was reminded of why I like facials so much — especially those at Four Seasons spas.
Over the years, I’ve explored Four Seasons properties from Seattle to Budapest. And during a recent business trip to Denver, I knew it was time to see what the mile-high city’s FS was all about. Since I was staying at another hotel for the conference I was attending, I arranged for a girl’s night at the FS on my last night in town. (And FYI, the hotel was kind enough to host me for a visit to the spa and dinner in EDGE Bar.)
I arrived after my meetings had ended for the day and headed to the steam room (perhaps one of the prettiest I’ve ever been in). Next up, I checked in with my therapist for my 50-minute personalized facial. She did an excellent job of applying all of the potions and creams that made my skin feel moisturized and renewed after a week in the dry air of Colorado. No complaints here, y’all!
After the treatment, I headed down to EDGE where I found a perch at the bar and proceeded to dig into all of the tastes that headed my way. My favorites included the lobster mac and cheese, and the charred beef tartare. But the coolest part of the meal was the cook-your-own protein experience delivered with EDGE’s signature 900-degree hot stone. I enjoyed every bite of the wagyu and grass-fed beef options, as well as the scallop and tuna options. (My mouth is watering just thinking of it!)
The verdict? My little evening of relaxation and filling my belly was the perfect way to top off a busy day in Denver. “Fit!”
