Burning 750 calories in a workout? Thanks to a new fitness studio — F45 — opening in Buckhead, a strength and cardio-based workout that accomplishes this kind of intense burn will be available whenever I feel like an ass kicking.
The concept, which was founded in Australia in 2014, has grown to include more than 850 studios in 24 countries. F45 training combines elements of high-intensity interval training (HIIT), circuit training, and functional training. And the fusion of these three training concepts has lead to the development of 27 different, 45-minute workout experiences (with more always in development).
I haven’t had a chance to try the studio yet — since it literally just opened — but I’m excited to get in soon. And BTW, all newbies get a free two-week trial membership. So, what excuse do you have not to go and give it a shot?
