Brilliant Veuve Clicquot bubbly paired with tastes of lobster cannelloni and pheasant — y’all, the Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta knows how to do a dinner party.
The gathering I’m referring to is the Bountiful Bubbles event that the hotel hosted in December. And I jumped at the invitation to attend (so, in full disclosure, my meal was complimentary, folks). Here are my top three reasons why you should reserve a spot at the MO’s next dinner party on Jan. 25 — A Tour of France with Louis XIII:
The drink. Past dinners have been built around beautiful wines. As I mentioned, the event I attended was centered around different champagnes, including a tasting of La Grande Dame. And as the name implies, the Jan. 25 event will be centered around the cognac by Rémy Martin.
The food. Think about multiple (it was five at my dinner) seasonal courses that will make your mouth water and were selected because they pair exquisitely with the drinks of the evening.
The ambiance. Let’s face it — if you’re going to do a fancy dinner party, the MO is the place to do it. Whether it’s in the intimate Café & Bar or in the garden, this venue offers swanky spots to indulge your love for drinking and eating.
